The Internet can be fun and is an amazing resource for learning, but it can also be a dangerous place with a number of risks for young people. The rise in the number of activities that are available to our young people only increases the number of risks that are posed. We are constantly hearing tales in the media of the dangers of the Internet but sometimes we lack precise knowledge of how we can help minimise the risk to ourselves and our young people. The academy will update these pages regularly and provide links to other sites that provide young people and their parents with advice and guidance on staying safe online while enjoying its many benefits.
The following links provide information to help parents understand this subject.
