We are acutely aware of the impact the cost of living is having on our community and students. We are seeking to support where we can. Below you can find links to several organisations and avenues of support that we have been signposted to. We will aim to keep this page updated frequently, please do let us know if there any other local supports you are aware of.
As part of our school fundraising our registered charity, Friends of Shoreham Academy frequently distribute funds to support students in need of financial aid. This could be to enable them to attend an extra-curricular visit, support with equipment or uniform or simply buy a book for them to read. If you feel able to donate to this charity with any amount, please click the link below. Donations can be kept anonymous should you wish.

Under Ofgem rules, energy suppliers must work with you to agree on a payment
plan you can afford, including reviewing a plan you have agreed to before. Each energy supplier offers a scheme known as 'Priority Service Registration'. This is a free support service to help people in vulnerable situations. Each supplier keeps their own register, and you need to contact them directly to get on it.
